Buzz Aldrin Coming to Myrtle Beach
See the parade on Ocean Boulevard May 29th starting at 10:30 AM. Its Grand Marshall is Buzz Aldrin, pilot of Apollo 11 during the first manned landing on the moon and second set of footprints there with Neil Armstrong. Starting at 27th Avenue North, it features more than 25 floats, 8 helium balloons, and 10 inflatables, plus bands, groups, classic cars, and area celebrities. It ends at noon on 9th Avenue North.
