MB Airport Looks to the Future
Myrtle Beach International Airport has received two grants totaling $6.9 million. Awarded under the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, this money rewards "ready to go" projects such as the MB Airport where the staff is completely vetted and in total compliance. Sectors expected to receive money for upgrades include runway lighting, generating 35 construction jobs immediately. Also, expansion and rehabilitation of the terminal will create 80 jobs. Excuse their dust! They are upgrading!
