21st Annual International Beach & River Sweep

Visiting or residing here, come participate in the Beach Sweep/River Sweep event, organized by S.C. Sea Grant Consortium in partnership with S.C. Department of Natural Resources. This is a wide-ranging event across the state where up to 6,000 people get involved. Helps the environment. Helps you when you volunteer! If you want to know more about our coastal area, come to the Beach Sweep/River Sweep or call and find out how you can help. As part of efforts by the SC Department of Natural Resources, this large one-day litter cleanup of beaches and waterways plays an important role in ridding over 57 tons of trash from our waterways in sensitive areas.
