The Queen of England Visits the U.S.
After an extended trip through Canada, the Queen of England and her husband Prince Phillip stopped in New York City on July 6th during a heat wave for a 5-hour visit to the United Nations, also near the footprint of the World Trade Center's South Tower. She honored the 67 Britons killed in the attack and toured the British Garden of Remembrance. Then, later that evening, they flew home to Britain.
